Coyote Publishing is a web, catalogue and graphic design company based in Alberta. We offer complete web creative design and development, logo design, and catalogue design. Although we specialize in the cattle industry, there is no limit with us when it comes to functional, creative design and we would be happy to help your business succeed in its marketing presence through web development and catalogue.

JANA KEELEY | Web Design

Coyote Publishing was originally started by Sid (my mom) and was expanded in 2005 to include a web division, which I currently own and operate. The last 5 years has been an incredible journey that started with a couple of websites using the very basic web technology available and has expanded to the vast portfolio we now represent.

Thank you to all my clients for your encouragement, patience, loyalty and continued support. Working with you all makes what I do truly enjoyable.

CHERYL DUVAL | Web Design

I currently work under the web division and assist Jana in the design and development of client websites for Coyote Publishing. It has been a rewarding experience to be part of this team and I truly look forward to keep working with our clients and tackling the creative and cerebral challenges to come!

Sid Leavitt

First off, I’d like to thank all of my clients for your continued support and loyalty.  In my business, like in yours, it’s the customers that make it what it is and it’s the repeat customers that you can count on year after year that really make the difference.  I know that your catalogues and ads and promotions are key elements in your marketing strategies and the fact that you choose Coyote Pub to work with makes me feel proud and humble at the same time.

Secondly, I would like to dispel a bit of a rumor going around last spring that I was retiring.  ’Fraid not… two things make that an unreality for a long time to come – first being that we are commercial cattle ranchers first & foremost – I am sure you know “The Rest of The Story” in that our current economy makes the publishing company important in keeping the cattle end of the ranch viable.  Secondly, I love what I do – I love the people this business brings into my life, I love the challenges each project brings with it, and I love the fact that with all of our modern technology I can do this job wherever I am (in fact I am going to be hauling hay today with my laptop riding on the seat beside me so I can work on a catalogue while waiting to be loaded and unloaded!).  So, no – retirement is not in my plans, not now and not soon.

I think the retirement rumor was likely started by the fact that we moved our calving to late spring/early summer which allowed us to get away for part of March (after the bull sale catalogue run was all but finished) and all of April to spend time with family and friends in Texas, Arizona & California.  The calves started arriving shortly after we got home and what a fabulous experience calving was this year.  The cows calved out on the grass on the hills and it was like an Easter egg hunt every day… you didn’t know how many or what color, but you knew there would be some!  We went out early every morning and tagged the new arrivals and moved them to a different pasture and marveled every day at what a great way it was to start the day!  We liked what we did so well that we are planning to do it all over again in 2011, so if you hear the retirement rumor resurface, know that it is just a rumor – I love you all too much to leave you and will likely be in business until my kids put me in the nursing home!!

Here’s wishing you all a fabulous fall – whether you are buying or selling or both, know that I wish you huge success in all you do.  Also know that I do appreciate your business and look forward to working with you now and in the upcoming spring!!
