Action Required: Change in Email Settings
Please ensure that your email address is set up with SSL settings
As part of ongoing efforts to keep all email accounts secure, we will be requiring that all accounts set up with a third-party mail client (ie. Outlook) be done so in a specific way that is explained below.Currently, accounts are allowed to be set up with “plaintext authentication” (unsecured) to send and receive email. Beginning April 13th, 2016, these unsecured connections will no longer be allowed to ensure that email is secure on the server and passwords are not compromised.
WHAT DOES THIS MEAN FOR ME?
You will need to check your email address settings before April 13, 2016 to ensure that the settings you have match the following and are set to SSL or TLS (secured connection):
User name: *your email address*
Password: *your password*
Incoming Server: pass94.dizinc.com
If it is an IMAP account, set port to 993
If it is a POP3 account, set port to 995
Outgoing Server: pass94.dizinc.com
SMTP Port: 465
HOW DO I DO THIS?

If you are using a mail client that is not listed above, please contact us to arrange for assistance between Monday, April 4th to Tuesday, April 12th.
Please note that all preparatory action is being taken to mitigate service interruptions so it is vital that everyone has the correct settings before April 13th. Accounts that don’t have the proper settings will no longer be able to receive and send mail properly.
